China visit gets results

A team from WordWave International Asia (WWIA) has visited Beijing to demonstrate the company’s range of reporting and transcription services to representatives from major international law firms based in China.

The fact-finding trip aimed to identify ways in which WWIA can tailor its services, which already include offering reporting and transcription in Mandarin as well as Cantonese, to suit the particular needs of clients on the mainland.

Says WWIA Managing Director Charlotte Pache: “Feedback from the legal professionals was very positive, with lawyers particularly interested in the services we’re providing for arbitrations in Hong Kong. Over the next few months, we’ll be looking at ways to offer something similar in mainland China, based on the findings from this trip.”
