Earlier this summer, Merrill Legal Solutions exhibited at the prestigious 20th Biennial LawAsia Conference organised by the Law Society of Hong Kong and LawAsia. The four day conference took place at the award-winning Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and brought together legal practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region. Expert speakers discussed legal issues of importance to the region and it was a great opportunity to meet a diverse range of delegates. In addition, Merrill provided a transcription service to the Chief Justices’ Conference which took place at the same time at the same venue.

Also this summer, Merrill completed its first piece of work in Xiamen, Fujian Province, South East China. It was a major scanning job which involved sending a team with portable equipment to China to work on-site in the offices of a company which was involved in US-based litigation. It was tricky at times but our team managed to complete what was required in just under a week, much to the delight of the client.
