International conference

At the beginning of October, the 10th Court Technology Conference in Tampa, Florida saw an international team from the Merrill Legal Solutions group in attendance. The conference brought together more than 2,500 court professionals from around the world for three days of learning, training and networking.

The conference is one of the biggest of its kind and was a chance for Merrill to show its unique range of skills and services to court officials from around the globe. Months of planning have gone in to Merrill’s involvement and it was particularly exciting to be able to present our new litigation support tools, including courtroom consultancy, electronic presentation of evidence, Lextranet, along with 3D virtual reconstruction of evidence, as well as showing the advances being made in the world of audio recording and real-time reporting.

Our team included UK Managing Director, Jayne Perry and Charlotte Pache, Managing Director of our Asia operations. Jayne Perry says: “CTC is a major event in the timetable of court services around the world. We view it as an invaluable opportunity to showcase our technological ability to a wide range of legal professionals and to position ourselves as the leading consultancy company for court services outside the United States.”
