It’s Graduation Time!

Merrill Legal Solutions leads the field in providing court reporting and trial and transcription services and over the last 11 years has developed its very own training school to support these services. Selection for a place on the Merrill training course is rigorous and places are hard to come by.

September saw the graduation of 14 trainees from Merrill Legal Solutions’ highly specialised stenography training school. The trainees have undergone six months of intense training, being taught to use the most up to date technology by our very experienced team of trainers and technicians. On qualification, trainees can look forward to a varied career with opportunities to travel all over the world.

Jennifer Mann, one of the recent graduates had this to say: “The training course taught me the foundations of stenography theory and effective transcript editing techniques. It was a very challenging year but also very rewarding. Having graduated the course I now work in the Central Criminal Court, which is fantastic, I really enjoy every aspect of the job.”

Anne Kiss, head of the Merrill stenography training school says: “We set very high standards for our trainees and teach them using the most up to date technology. Our goal is to meet clients’ needs by producing excellent stenographers who can cope with the demands made of them in their future careers.”
