Major new role for Sarah Andrews
Sarah Andrews, until recently the managing director of Merrill Legal Solutions, has accepted the position to head Merrill Corporation’s international businesses. In her previous role, Sarah managed Merrill Legal Solutions’ businesses based in Europe, Asia and Australia. She will be expanding her responsibilities to include Merrill’s financial services products and services. Sarah has 18 years’ experience working in the legal services and information publishing sectors, serving as a board director for Sweet & Maxwell Group (Thomson) prior to joining WordWave which then became Merrill Legal Solutions.
Sarah joined the company 10 years ago to build a publishing business and has seen the company grow from a niche court reporting company to a truly international legal and media solutions business. Today we have over 300 employees and 850 self employed reporters, transcribers, loggers and verbatim court reporters (VCRs).
Sarah says: “I am really thrilled to have the opportunity to expand my management brief within Merrill to include the TCS financial print business and can see huge potential for combining the TCS and Merrill Legal Solutions businesses. Over the next few months I will be working closely with the senior teams from both companies to shape our plans for the future.”
