Ministry of Justice extends Merrill contract

Merrill Legal Solutions is the sole court reporting company authorised to provide real-time reporting services to criminal cases throughout England and Wales and has been providing these services for the past four years, meeting demanding contractual requirements for quality, accuracy and delivery. Since the award of the contract in 2004 Merrill has provided real-time services to over 100 criminal cases, including complex fraud trials and long-running murder trials. More recently, Merrill has covered several sensitive prosecutions, including the De Menezes trial and the 21 July attempted London Underground bomb plot.
