New Courtroom Consultant

Jan France joins Merrill Legal Solutions from Kroll Ontrack where he was Principal Consultant on courtroom technology. Jan has been an innovator in the courtroom technology field for many years, since providing the technology for the first ever electronic trial over 10 years ago. Jan has had a key role in managing long running trials and public inquiries, including the high profile, complex Bloody Sunday Inquiry which ran for over five years in Northern Ireland. Jan brings with him a wealth of experience which will be invaluable in developing the services Merrill Legal Solutions provides in the rapidly growing sphere of electronic presentation of evidence.

Merrill Legal Solutions is currently providing electronic presentation of evidence services to two major London law firms which includes in-court Broadband internet access (including e-mail), LiveNote® transcripts with documents referred to in court hyperlinked to the transcript for ease of reference and remote LiveNote® access. This is in addition to the installation of an in-court network of screens and presentation software.
