Re-branding

On 2 October 2006, WordWave International re-branded to become Merrill Legal Solutions in Europe and Australasia as part of the continued integration of WordWave International and Merrill Corporation. Over the past year, Merrill has continued to combine its document management and trial service experience with WordWave’s court reporting expertise to offer the most comprehensive suite of on-site and on-demand products and services available to the legal industry.

Whilst Merrill Legal Solutions is the new marketing name, there have been no changes to either the personnel or values of the European and Australasian offices. Sarah Andrews, International Managing Director of Merrill Legal Solutions stated: ‘Our objective is to transfer the brand qualities that made WordWave International so successful in its markets to the new Merrill Legal Solutions brand, whilst exciting our clients about the additional service offerings we will be rolling out. Under the new brand we will offer clients access to a full range of solutions to meet all their needs throughout the litigation cycle’.

A new website and range of marketing materials will be launched before Christmas. Market reaction to the new name has been good with clients commenting that they feel the wider range of services, coupled with the client care and exceptional reliability and quality that WordWave International offered is an exciting development in the fast evolving litigation technology market.
