Today, our stenographers, palantypists, transcribers, note takers, summarisers and technicians cover over 280 client bookings every day producing 2.1 million pages of transcripts per year. Merrill provides its clients with official records of the spoken word in many contexts:
• HR Transcription - at HR grievance, disciplinary or any kind of employee fact-finding meeting we provide specialist HR notetaking services. The summary or verbatim transcript is produced either from recorded digital audio files or with a stenographer or note taker attending the meeting and capturing the words as they are spoken. We work closely with Human Resources managers and Employee Relations case workers to provide high quality outsourced HR transcription services and streamline grievance and disciplinary case loads.
• Business Transcription - at board meetings, roundtable forums, focus groups, strategic company meetings as well as conferences and seminars we produce transcripts for use in day to day business. A fast and accurate official record of any business meeting or event can be delivered either in real-time (using stenography), at the end of the day, the next day or on longer transcript turnarounds for the meeting participants.
• Financial Transcription - at an Investor Relations event, AGMs, EGMs, company results announcements, analyst presentations, shareholder communications, roadshows and events
• Speech to Text for Deaf and hard of hearing clients - at any kind of meeting or event we can provide communication access support services. A real-time Speech To Text service, produced by professional stenographers or palantypists, is provided either direct to an individual laptop or projected onto a large screen for a wider audience.
• Media, Press and PR Transcription - at a press conference, media interview or press junket, a text feed in real-time or a transcript after the event can be delivered direct to the news room for print, television or the web.
• Broadcast services - for a TV channel. Both offline and real-time captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing is produced daily. We can also provide a real-time broadcast text feed direct from a courtroom to a TV news channel.
