Digital Recording and Transcription

Meetings, conferences, court proceedings and interviews can be recorded by our clients using a small handheld or larger recording equipment device.

As an alternative we have an assisted recording and transcription service, where the recording equipment can be set up for you by a technician who will attend the meeting to monitor the recording and provide a log of speakers to aid the transcription process.

Why use Merrill Legal Solutions?

Our international pool of transcribers allows us to deliver verbatim or summary transcripts to our clients on a variety of turnarounds (overnight, 2 day, 4 day or 6 day). Our rates are competitive and transcripts subjected to regular quality control checks. We use a number of transcription styles but can vary the style to meet our client’s specific requirements.

How does it work?

Smaller meetings and interviews are generally recorded by the client using a small (mobile phone size) recording device. The audio is then uploaded to our server and accessed by the transcribers using a secure username and password.

Larger meetings or court proceedings are recorded by our technicians and the audio is uploaded together with a log at the end of the meeting or hearing, the audio is accessed by transcribers who produce a verbatim transcript which is returned to you within your specified timeframe.
