Professional Transcription Services
We provide a wide range of transcription services and work closely with our clients to develop innovative new services to help you enhance your internal and external communications more effectively: from providing outsourced HR note taking services and producing official records of business meetings, to providing Speech to Text reporters and palantypists who deliver a real-time verbatim text feed to deaf and hard-of-hearing employees or delegates in a meeting.
What services do we offer?
Business transcription
High level business meetings, focus groups, board meetings, round table discussions and strategic Investor Relations events are an all too familiar part of the daily routine for many companies. Obtaining an accurate official record of these meetings and events, as a professional impartial transcript, is very important in these scenarios. Accuracy and speed of transcript delivery are crucial to our clients. We provide verbatim transcripts, summary transcripts as well as note taking and minute taking services. We can transcribe from audio or send a stenographer to attend a meeting.
Human Resources and Employee Relations transcription
Many organisations are now outsourcing their HR note taking function to Merrill. We provide a tailor made, specialist HR transcription service and are very familiar with HR grievance and disciplinary proceedings. We work regularly with large teams of Employee Relations case workers to streamline and speed up the grievance process. We offer different levels of HR transcription service, from attending HR meetings and providing professional note takers and stenographers, to providing our clients with digital audio recorders and then transcribing or summarising meetings from recorded audio files.
Speech to text services for Deaf and hard of hearing clients
We have developed an innovative voice to text service that allows Deaf and hard of hearing clients to play the fullest role in meetings, conferences and live events. A live, verbatim account of what is being said enables our Deaf and hard of hearing clients to participate fully in proceedings and have access to all that is said. Our speech to text service provides communication support to participants in an onsite or remote capacity. Stenographers and palantypists are used to provide this specialist service.
Captioning and subtitling
Through Captioning and Subtitling International (CSI), Merrill Legal Solutions’ subtitling joint venture with ITFC, we provide a range of high quality, cost effective pre-recorded and live subtitling services. Our expert subtitlers and broadcast stenographers produce the highest quality pre-recorded and live subtitles for television, video and interactive applications.
Broadcasts
Reporters accurately capture the record in court and a live transcript appears on a television news screen only seconds later with this first class broadcast service. When it comes to live feeds for broadcast, it’s all about delivering the news feed as accurately, quickly and accessibly as possible.
